Angel Dust

by Wings Of Flames   Jul 24, 2007

Angel Dust

Her eyes frozen delights,
Pale snowflakes cross,
She falls from the sky,
In grace yet such loss,

Knots hold her broken,
To taint the holy soul,
Embedded in her misery,
Forever in her goal,

Her wings burnt and torn,
As her heart brings her down,
Heavy tears held within,
Inside she shall drown,

An ache unmistaken,
A power of the dark,
Alone in this cold,
The winter must embark,

Tangled in her message,
Fighting for the right,
Dying in the arms,
Of the darkest light.

    Wow.
    This was a beautiful poem.
You painted a picture in my mind.
And your flow was almost perfect and you kept my attention. The emotion was almost overwhelming!
    great job!
