LDN

I'm what you stand for,
Something you wont know,
Take the warmth from summer,
Take the lightest glow,

He shall stand in vain,
Thou in tainted tear,
Thus to the principles,
Of He who is unclear,

Rain pounds the ashes,
And you all turn to mud,
Stone graves carved,
Upon the darkest bud,

White is the canvas,
Sacrifice the red,
Start the storm with thunder,
Echo what is bled,

Deep in reflection,
The glass shimmers cold,
Hating all I am,
As my life will unfold,

Staring at the shimmer,
As crystals rain,
Lying underneath it,
For the ending of the pain.

A really, really good piece. I would've given it a 5/5, but I only give those out to the absolute exceptional poems. By far, the stanza I love the most was the second. There's something about words like 'Thou' and 'Thus' that are so very appealing to me, as well as the way you've toyed with the stucture of each line in that stanza. I loved that stanza to bits! Well bloody done!
