Whichever Way The Wind Blows...

by FountainsOfBlood   Jul 24, 2007

~This poem was inspired by the greatest song I have ever heard! Randomly thought of it when I was listening to the guitar in it, the high noted one. Anyway, the songs Rush - Resist (live)~
[[ I know I wrote it... but i don't have a clue what the hell it means, so if anyone could like read between the lines and tell me what my own poem means, then thanks lol *how embarrassing, i don't have a scooby what the hell my own poem means!!!!* ]]

Don't cry to me when it all goes wrong
To me you shall not fall
I will speak words of wisdom
But words cannot make the journey alone
One day you will stand on your two feet
Walk towards the rising sun
See a new dawn, a new day, a new life
And you'll keep singin' that same ol' song;
"Whichever way the wind blows
That's where I'm gonna go
There's nothin' holdin' me be
...Cause I'm free"

Don't scream to me when you feel like givin' up
To me you shall not shout
I will do acts of justice
But my acts cannot cover you alone
One day you will stand on your two feet
Speak to the rising sun
It's a new dawn, a new day, a new life
That moment, you'll sing that same ol' song;
"Whichever way the wind blows
That's where I'm gonna go
There's nothin' holdin' me be
...Cause I'm free"

Don't die when it feels like the end
To me you shall not slip away
I will save your soul once more
But my saving cannot last forever
One day you will stand on your two feet
Ask the rising sun
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, a new life
The same ol' song, different words;
"Whichever way the wind blows
That's where I'm gonna go
There's nothin' holdin' me alive
...Cause I've died"
