I am sat here alone in silence, its just me
Looking out toward the midnight sky,
And the window pane laced with raindrops
Is nowhere near as drenched as my eyes.
I feel like there has been a death in me,

No desire to talk to my friends right now

Tears welling up in my eyes with every thought
Of how I love you, shall I pick up the phone?
Put upon you my desperate sobs and longings
Tell you how my heart is breaking more with time,
Or should I just curl up here underneath the moon
With this blanket of stars, my tears, and a rhyme....
I love you from the depths of my heart and soul
