A letter for you

by Letty   Jul 24, 2007

The wind blows strongly
Awakening me from an endless dream,
Reminding me of a sad reality,
And the things that cannot be.

The moon envelops me with its glow,
On this dark and lonely night.
As I yearn for your presence here,
Praying that you could be mine.

A song of hopelessness plays in the background
As the wind mingles with the trees.
I add to that song with my sobs of sorrow,
about all my wants and my needs.

A picture of your smile flashes in my mind,
Bringing fourth bitterness and terrible pain.
I truly wish things for us were like in the beginning,
And that our love for one another didn't change.

But I know deep down inside,
there is no turning back once you move ahead.
My bed is now drenched from this bucket of tears
And the blood that my heart has bled.

You were suppose to be my Romeo,
And I should have been your Juliet.
but you chose to share our world with others,
So now I'm your victim of love instead.

We had made so many plans together,
To teach each other new and different things.
But you messed up and broke your vow,
And shattered all hopes and dreams.

The wind is blowing even stronger now,
And now it's raining heavily outside.
That song of hopelessness and sorrow has ended,
It's now playing me lullaby.

I can't stay awake any longer,
Because of the smooth tempo and soothing beat.
I had so much more that I wanted to say,
Before mother nature lulled me to sleep Zzz.
