My little girl

I'll tell you about my smile, my smile stands two feet high
and if push came to shove for my smile I'd die
My smile gives me a reason to live
and a direction for my heart to give
My smile can brighten any dampened mood
And for any starving drought it will be my food

I'll tell you about my love, my love calls out to me
And doesn't scorn me for being me
My love runs across the room and into these arms of mine
It's forced me to realize how little time
there really is for me to love
but when I go I'll watch from above

I'll tell you about my joy, my joy calls me dad
And I couldn't imagine the life I could have had
without hearing that angelic voice
my joy gives me the choice
And I choose to be her best friend
throughout bitter cold and blowing wind

She is why I smile
She is why I love
She is my joy
She is my world
She is my little baby girl
