Hope

by smit   Jul 25, 2007

Hope comes and goes out my window
Most of times leaving me all hollow
Its like a cigarette's smoke
As vicious as lying under the oak
If you keep it locked up within
you will have nothing left to breathe in
But if you let it fly free
It will let you live till eternity

Hope is also just as addictive if not more
It will never let you go off-shore
The less you have of it
The more you will look for it
The more you have of it
More chances you will be disappointed from it

Most of the times its an essential thing
It can even make the worst of us sing
But during our darkest hour
When you are all alone like a dead flower
All you want before you say that good bye
Is that last bit of hope to die.
