What Happened To My Old Danny Boy?

by Kathryn H   Apr 25, 2004

*this one kind of changes. its about a guy who was once in my life. i am telling you how he use to be like in my eyes. then it turns into how he is now. i hope you enjoy and rate and give me any suggestions*

Make more excuses. You try to run and hide. I try to make myself go by another day without you. I stare at your picture and try to remind myself how big of a prick you are. But your beautiful eyes make me wonder why I ever fell for you. Oh yeah now I remember. Your old, charming personality. You're dull but fun sense of humor. You're crazy smile and good taste in music. I use to love every single minute I spent with you. Love talking on the phone for a long time. I wish I could breath you in. caress your flawless skin. But you live up north. I live down here in Reno. Now you have moved on to better things. You're the lead singer of a band. Gorgeous girls follow you around, and you walk around happy and proud. You are perfect by nature. So, sweet and use to be concerned about me. You have a certain talent no other man will ever have. You have a way with words. I smile when you speak to me with softness and greatness. I am so thankful I met you.
Oh what has happened to you? But now you have turned away from me. Too cool to stand by your long time friend. Did you just talk to me because you were bored? Were you getting tired of me? I don't seem to understand this world. You were so kind and sweet, now you have turned into a beast. I am heartbroken. I have a certain heartache that no one can replace. Nothing will ever change between us. No one can change your sudden ways. I don't understand you anymore. In a way you betrayed me. You made me believe you loved me. oh how I became such a fool. Now you go off and play your little gig and toy with little girls who aren't interested in you. They only walk around you is because you are a new shining star. You use to shine bright in my eyes. No you have been blown out. You have turned away and will never return to your old sweet ways.
