When i wake up
& open my eyes
i think of you
that's no surprise

i put on my make-up
i put on my clothes
i look in the mirror
& i'm ready to go

its ten past ten
when i see you
normally your smiling
but today you are blue

we sit down for lunch
at our local cafe
you tell me it's not working

i have met someone else
is what you reply

as i run off
it starts to rain
i grab my ticket
and jump on the train
