The ultimate moment .

by chavii   Jul 25, 2007

Profound happiness shimmers on her exhausted face,
As she is handed over her first born after three hours
of extreme labour pains.

Hundreds of mixed feelings rushes through her veins,
Seeing in flesh the life she has nutured inside her for thirty eight long weeks.

The pains and hardships she has endured to bring this new life,
is now transformed into a mother's everlasting maternal pride.

The woman inside her now feels complete.
