Stranger (Version 2)

by Lemonbread   Jul 25, 2007

Stuck in a world
With many strangers
Lost in my mind
Full of dangers

A struggle just to
Keep myself steady
But things I do
Are always deadly

I want someone
To hold and trust
To help me not to
Slip through earths crust

He shares my pain
And shares the lies
Of a thousand souls
In many eyes

Protects me from my guilt
From the storm outside
Kept in his blankets
Warm and safe inside

At one point I thought
Something was wrong
But I've found out
It was him trying to be strong

He is no stranger in my eyes
We grow fond of each other
We will remain close
Even if we love another
