Better to be Apart

Your gone for a reason
that’s easy to find
being together will only hurt us both
in the end we'll both be fine

like a sad story, ending way before it starts
an all to predictable cycle, this game of broken hearts
though it begins with happiness,
it ends in bitter grief
love is the absence of truth, faith, honesty, and relief

this game is way too often played,
it starts out fun but begins to fade
so I realized before we break each other's heart
its only right we stay apart
