Last night he said he loved me, last night he really cared, my soul and heart was content last night, as i gently rubbed his head.

Last night we held each other, last night his words were sweet, my eyes overflowed with tears last night, when he confessed how he's lost without me.

Last night we didn't argue, last night we started new, when he came to me for a second chance, last night he spoke the truth.

Last night he wanted forgiveness, last night he dumped his pride, he placed his arms around my waist, last night I saw him cry.

Last night he made a promise, last night he changed my life, he said I'd never hurt again, last night he wanted a wife.

Last night I enjoyed his company, last night I was at peace, I fell asleep in his arms, last night my life was complete.
