I'm speachless. It's always sad when someone dies in the wars, but you put it into perspective just how horrible war is. The last part:

    it seems like just yesterday
    you said goodbye
    it feels like just yesterday
you told me not to cry
it seems like yesterday was the day you went to war
    but just yesterday
i found out that you were no more

That was so creative and full of emotion. This is beyond the words of a common person, and I guess all there is to say, is may he rest in peace.
    Truly wondeful, keep it up

    With all due respect,
    Hatori

This one struck me speak less. I had goose bumps all over my arms. This one is overflowing with emotion, whitch is great. it was so well written that if you just had the words and no emotion, it would still be a wonderful poem. 8/5

  • Wow, this is very sad. I don't know anyone who have gone to the war and died, but I did have a friend who was like a brother to me that died almost 2 years ago. I wrote a poem for him, if you want, check it out. I loved this poem so much. 5/5
