The Mind of A Predator

by Ninjesta   Jul 25, 2007

There's no way
to tell you I'm sorry,
Though through tears
I certainly try.
The pain that i have
caused you
warrants my deserving to die.
I knew full well
what i was doing
And my heart told me to stop
But something pushed me
over the edge
And to the darkness
I had dropped.
He had said stop to
but with a quiver in his voice
I robbed him of his
innocence
I made that desperate choice.
On the floor where he lay,
broken, naked, crying,
I stand beside him,
having accepted the thought of dying.
A couple of weeks pass
and months turn into years,
The cops haven't come calling
this cancels some of my fears.
I meet another friend,
Similar to the other,
So alike in their attitudes
they may have passed
for brothers.
I make my special connection
and invite him to my house
The darkness is calling again
he has no idea what I'm about.
Come again my remorse
and my regret to live
but all this is a ploy
in hopes that they all forgive
A couple more years pass
and Ill make another friend
I'm thankful for your ignorance
which is why this will never end...
