You Tell Me

by What A Beautiful Lie   Jul 25, 2007

You tell me to be as smart as your friends daughter.
You tell me to be as funny as that comedian on T.V.
You tell me to be as giving as Mother Teresa.
You tell me to be as pretty and skinny as that girl in the magazine.
You tell me, you tell me, you tell me, you tell me, you tell me.
You know what I am going to tell you.
Leave me alone and let me be me.
