Lost Love

by Sherry Lynn   Jul 25, 2007

People once said we made the perfect pair
Always loving each other without fear
Understanding the other without saying a word
Left believing we would never part

Memories made together forever etched in my heart
Intertwining souls never showed fault
Creating a future; children and all
Holding on to each other without a thought
Allowing ourselves to fall without any doubt
Ending our love came as a painful surprise
Leaving me heartbroken and hating life

This is how I feel sometimes. the words she used to tell me, and the way we shared our time. and now for her it's all forgotten and never happened.

This poem was short and quick and I liked that you separated the two feelings. the first one is about the way you remember and the second part describes how bad you feel after he left. it's nice. good stuff!
