Im sitting by the pool letting you speak
You talk of how you love her
You talk of how you care
You talk of the kisses in the rain
You talk of the way shes there for you, every moment,

You tell me how she claims such devotion and love
You smile when you think of her
You smile when you think of your love for her
You smile when you think of her love for you
But dont you see?
None of this is in any way true
Your love for her is not love, infatuation instead
You talk of kisses in the rain
She was thinking of him as you held her tight
You talk of how shes there for you, every moment,
every day
But am I not the one her when shes done so much wrong? While she has nothing to say?
You tell me how she claims such devotion and love
If that was so, I wouldnt have helped you home last
night because you drank too much,
Because she hurt you in such a way
You smile when you think of her
Which is such a mystery to me
You smile when you think of your love for her
She doesnt love you back! Im screaming in my mind
But instead I nod, I smile, and I say...nothing
For my love for you is too much
Love is ignorance, love is bliss, love is believing as you
wish
And if love leads to happiness, then you should know I
love you enough
I love you enough to let you love her in ignorance and
bliss, though wrong it may be
So love her now, and forget me tomorrow.
But if you cant see the real love sitting here by your
pool, letting you speak,
Then you deserve the heartbreak shell cause, and you
deserve the heart that will make your heart tear,
As mine tears each time you talk of her
You deserve it all because of that.
But did I deserve my heartbreak as a sacrifice for your
happiness?
Of that Im not sure yet
But I know I love you, and I know I can wait
And I know that my time with you will never come, for
fate has never been so kind to me
But I do believe that being here with you, here for you,
is enough for me
But I think knowing youll be in pain in the end is the only thing keeping me here
To see you go through the pain which I went through? Yes, thats the only reason Im here

So that maybe I'll feel better about all the hurt you
