Why did i believe him?

I should seen this from the start
With the both of us falling apart
Though things seemed fine from the outside
but come take a view from inside
And then you'll see whats really going on
He told me things that i began to believe
Things that i wanted to see
I became unaware of how things were really becoming
He began to call me less,
though what he said to me was still stunning
And it sounded so true
I cant believe i believed him when he told me " i love you"
Soon i found out the little secret that he was keeping from me
And how i was too blind by the pretty words to see
That everything he said was just fake and was what he wanted me to believe
So now i know that the things were just make believe
I believed things i knew were lies just to make the pain go away
I thought he would change one day and mean what he might say
He blames others for me finding out
But it was only a matter of time before i did
He thought i was stupid and dumb and would never find out
But i have friends that will always tell me what is going on i have no doubts

Now the things that he always says
Begins to go through my head
And everything i see looks different to me
I begin to doubt and think
Maybe he didn't do anything after all
Or maybe thats just another lie too
He says he's going to change schools and stay away from me
But what good will that be?
He's only staying away cause he doesn't want the drama to start
or finish what he starts
I dint think he realizes that
If he does it will catch him in the end
So why not fix it when he while he still has a chance?

Take my advice if you want
It doesn't bother me if you don't
Take the good with the bad and smile if you can
Dont let him rule your life
Or you will be blind and wont understand
When you find out that he has been with another person
Telling her all that he can
He might say its not true
But follow what you believe
And not what he says
Cause the guy you might think is perfect
Could be lieing to you in the end.
