Forever

Expanding doubt, unlikely chances.
Are you as afraid as i am,
that we're wrong about forever?
I just want to believe,
forget the possibility of the end.
I'll never be that naive.
We've put so much tension in our fear.
Every day is getting harder to bare.
I want to make this work,
because of when we're at our best;
those feelings should last forever.
Then all of a sudden
your doubts, you can't believe.
These words mean
nothing to you,
but everything to me.
Why even bother saying anything
ever, at all,
if you don't think
that you'll be saying them
to me
forever.
