Love always seemed over-rated
which always ended with nothing
there always seemed to be losers
no-one ever declared a win

i never understand matters of the heart
and tears that came when love had gone
and all the fuss over marriage
and declaring he or she was the one

love never seemed to approach me
my feels seemed to disappear
i never understood the love bug
love came across as a fear

I'm young, I'll fall in love one day
but deep down i knew it was a lie
because i already had been in love
and thats why secretly i would cry

he had broken my heart in pieces
so been loveless was my way
it could have been so different
if he decided to stay

but now I'm all single
and love is not part of my story
I'm going to stand on my own two feet
and gain all my own glory

don't dwell over the past
don't mourn for your broken heart
