I no longer wish you miss me
or that your love is still there
because no matter how much I wish
you remain still unaware

I could pray a million times
God cannot answer my prayer
because it seems you never were
and never want to be there

I wish we could be friends
but my wishes don't come true
I wish I could turn back time
but wishing just won't do

and so once again I'll rest my head
and dream the wishes in my heart
hoping not to wake up soon
so we won't have to part

and so I rest in harmony
waiting for my dreams to begin
answering all my prayers
that are buried deep within.
