Forgive the B$!*@ (Shakespearean Sonnet)

by Serina the Squid   Jul 27, 2007

In the wind that from her learned lips blows
comes the haughty arrogance of her speech
and the rhymes of domination and prose
Her chin held high, her grin aligned to cheeks

Her smile, her smirk: and one is but the same
Her footsteps ring of grace, yet beauty not
and all due to the knowledge of her name
and the ruin of her, should it be forgot

Her identity is cause for her pride
yet, as supercilious as she be'st,
from her name she's forced to such moods abide
so earnestly I ask thine all to see'st

That though her manner arrogant and vain
such narcissism keeps her far from sane
