A simple smile

by Rose not your average   Jul 27, 2007

You can see the tears in her eyes,
You know she often cries.
So you give her a smile,
A simple smile.
She stops in her tracks,
Grateful for just a simple smile.
You may never be friends,
But that simple smile,
Changed the way she thought of everything,
Of people.
It changed her.
That simple smile,
Making the person feel cared for.
Not invisible.
She will try and be confident,
Remembering the simple smile.
No words need to be spoken,
Just smile.
You don’t have to be her friend,
Just a reassurance that she is not alone

It was a bit repetitive a times, but it was cute and I liked it.
    The theme is original too.

Adorable. Really. It's beautiful how you start this poem so depressed, and make it turn out in such a beautiful piece of work =]! The last lines really finish it too =)
    5/5! =D

Again, I didn't like the repetition of another word. It was once again, out of place. Well that is just my perception. 4/5
