Love Is A Fog

by Angela   Jul 27, 2007

There is a girl in the forest,
she is asleep,
and she doesn't know it,
but a fog rolls upon her,
it caresses her,
it kisses her skin,
and hugs her tight,
so bliss is the girl
as she breaths in the fog,
it consumes her inner being,
and chills her soul,
she doesn't know
but the fog is already killing her,
already dissolving her sweet soul,
love is a fog, life is a forest

Gosh, Angela, you have a way with words. :) It's a huge metaphorical piece.

    "so bliss is the girl
as she breaths in the fog,
    it consumes her inner being,
    and chills her soul,"

If love is the fog, how wonderful! You write so elegantly for such a short piece. It's so sweet and delightful to read. Honest. I hope you keep on writing.

    Take care,
    Marian
