Class of 2007

I walk in the building
I see all of my friends
I realize that our high school years
Are coming to a end

We all get in our clicks
Knowing this is the last
We talk and laugh
About what happened in the past

People get numbers
And email addresses too
Because they don't want to lose
A friend that has been true

We are getting nervous
As we gather in a line
We look at each other
Knowing everything will be fine

We remember our class
People we've lost
Knowing we want them here
We would pay any cost

Students gave speeches
About the time we won't forget
Also they reminded us
OF the times we will regret

We walk across the stage
With pride in our hearts
We have worked hard
From the very start

We receive our diplomas
Just a paper with our names
Saying we graduated
Which feels like fame

All our hard work
Has paid off from the past
Our diplomas in our hands
High school want by so fast

Our book isn't finished
This chapter is just ending
We need to realize
Another chapter is beginning!
