Walking through the woods
with memories all around her
shes walking slowly
on a path of broken glass
darkness slowly surrounds her
wishing his heart in her hand
she doesn't know were she is
as she takes her strangers hands
she only sees his eyes
in the shadows he stays
as he walks her way
from her lonely memories
and he kisses her lips
and takes her soul
shes so dangerously close
to letting go
If only she could say
how much she hurt
her inevitable struggle to survive
to forgive and forget
how much the other ment
how he has her heart
and this one has her soul
waiting for the moment
when she can say
with her voice strong
and she tells him "turn away

But shes biding time now
and not letting go
Biting her lip and
she forces herself not to cry
love is so hopeless
her voice hollow as she tries
to hold it all in
not letting go
as he reveals himself
letting the shadows fall back
showing himself
as her love
the one with her heart
shes crumbles and falls
so exhausted and weak
relief floods through her
so she cant speak
holding him close she wont let go
"i love you she whispers"
as her tears finally let go
