Letting Go

by Sorefromreality   Jul 28, 2007

Your heart never beat for me
The butterflies were only in me
You never saw the world in my eyes
When you looked at me
I saw my future, my love, my everything
But you just saw me,
staring back at you

I won't hold onto that last shred of hope
Because hope is for the weak
I'll throw you into the world
I can't protect you from scraped knees
Or broken hearts

If you don't need me, I'll walk away
I may even run, but I might look back
Don't tell me you ever missed me
When you didn't run after me

The hardest thing about loving you
Is knowing you can't feel the same
But I can let that go now,
And sometimes,
When you're in love,
You have to let go.

    >.< He sucked. He continues to suck. We just discussed this, the drugs are going to kill him if the cancer doesnt.

Wow, that sounds horrible. Too bad it's true.

    Anyways. I love it.
