The Fall Of Rain At Midnight

by cobain   Jul 28, 2007

The piter-patter of rain
Reflects off the silhouette shingled roof
The rain falls harder
The mighty pine stands tall and proud
Now the rain falls like Lucifer from heaven
Fast,powerful and wicked
Chilled air seeps into my room
Making it like Odin's castle
I close my eyes and I can hear the wind cry
I want to bust free
And dance with the water angels
Parading on the the roof
Dim skies is the background on the slowing rain
You can still hear the hushed wind in the trees
I enjoy the black landscape as cars pass with ease
The day time green trees
Now a ominous shade of gray
Its so serene you can almost hear the world cries
But this screen locks me in until the next rainy day
