Death

by sara   Jul 28, 2007

I've seen my life more clearly than,
Most others even dream,
I find that sadness in itself,
Is worse than it may seem.

I'm lost within my madness,
And my breath, It floats away,
Terror in this mind of mine,
...I feel it every day.

If only god was really there,
His eye upon my pain,
The torment of this fear,
It puts such pressure on my brain.

Born to die, born to suffer,
I was born in vain I know,
I can't escape the grip of fate,
No matter where I go.

I feel it now, so warm and black,
A flame turned into breath,
Fate has set him loose on me,
The creature known as Death.
