If She's Quiet, She's Listening.

She'd do anything to make him laugh or to see him smile,
she'd sit around forever to see him for a little while.
And while he's in bed asleep, she stays up late,
doing her best to stay awake,
in hopes of finding the right words to tell him the next day.
She always smiles when she hears his voice,
and she's only quiet so she can listen some more.
She has more confidence in him than he does in himself,
and she'd do anything to make him happy.
She'd fall on her face to be there for him,
but she messes up every now and again.
She does her best not to let things show,
but no matter what she feels or tries to hide,
the joy, the sadness, the hope, the pride,
it's all kept inside.
For some strange reason, she won't let it show,
but no matter how she feels, he always knows.
