You told me over and over,
and everytime, I fell further and further.
I thought I knew what I was doing,
but it's helped me to see
just how perfectly wrong I can really be.
I should've known better, but at least I tried,
then I realized, you arn't worth the tears I almost cried.
You told me everything,
and I fell for it all,
with nothing to catch me, or to break my fall.
And as soon as I get up, you say it again,
until I don't want to move on,
I just want to forget.
And when I close my eyes,
I still see your smile,
but I'll learn to let it go,
it'll just take me a while.
