Silence

by Sourav   Jul 28, 2007

Quietly observing the laugh
Quietly absorbing the pain
Though being mum is bit tough
Silently watching blood going through the drain

Don't read this poem aloud
As silence says thousand words
I've covered the words with a shroud
Sometimes silence is life's biggest reward

Tears drop like autumn leaves
Smile seems life's jocosity
Pretension fails when life deceives
Solemnly appraising the life's aridity

Talking to myself and my soul talks to me
Nothing better than gospel of the heart
Solemnizing the silence & silence's sincerity
Quietly observing the moment when silence falls apart
