TRUE BEAUTY

White on the outside
black on the in
kids on diets
dying to be thin

people say,"don't they realize?"
"they're causing more pain"
"killing themselves -
for being too vain"

but these kids are in deep
in society gone wrong
wouldn't it be great
if we all got along?

but the worlds not like this
and life can be tough
gangsters and mobs
yeah these kids seem rough

but if you look closer
you'll come to realize
they're trying to survive
and this is their disguise

life is never easy
so we take what we get
but some lose it all
on some stupid bet

there are those who starve
and those who drink
but we are all the same
now don't ya think?

yeah some seem messed up
and some turn bad
but they're doing their best
inside they are sad

we are all human
we breath the sam air
yet we turn on each other
now does that seem fair?

despite different colour
different culture amd race
we are still the same
we go our own pace

true beauty is on the inside
its what matters the most
this never changes
from coast to coast

like the old saying goes
never judge a book by its cover
we should all live freely
without judging each other

life can be tricky
none knows all the rules
so why cant we be equals
instead of acting like fools?

being racist gets you nowhere
i hope now you see
that no matter where they live
they're like you and me

black on the outside
white on the in
if we give up on being racist
everyone will win
