I want to tell you life is good.
You're hardly on my mind.
I only think about you
On occassion, time to time.

I want to tell you that my tears
Fall just once in a while.
Most of the time my days
Are filled with laughter and smiles.

I want to tell you my diary
Hardly knows of your name.
I find no need to write of it
When I just don't feel the same.

I want to tell you that my friends
Say I look better than before.
They say I'm getting over you,
By learning there's so much more.

What I really want to tell you
Is that my love is nearly gone.
But I can't say that stupid thing
Because you didn't know all along.
