The lullaby

by Arun Khan   Jul 28, 2007

Hush now, rest your eyes
Hush now the wind will blow
Be calm in my hands, picture us beyond the skies
We'll walk together and linger with the stars below
My hand is in yours don't be sad
I'm right here, don't wonder of what was and what you had
Shh sweetheart, I've mended your broken feet
Yes my love, I've stitched your cut hands so wounded by deceit
Quiet now princess, they cannot hurt us here
Sleep my lady I'll guard from angels and demons alike
No baby easy they won't hurt me either, no need to fear
Yes honey I've seen paradise, that's where we'll sleep tonight
I love you so baby, I will never leave don't cry
Hush now darling, listen to my lullaby.
