Wandering Child

by Krystal   Jul 28, 2007

Wandering child, why did you run?
Is it because you were tired of their fun?
The laughing, the teasing the horrible games,
The joy they get from calling you names.

Wandering child, why did you hide?
Is it because your friends all lied?
They said they'd protect you,
No matter what you went through.
But now they are gone,
Is that why you sing your sad song?

Wandering child, so confused and scared,
I need you too know we all cared.
I know life was tough on you,
And no one did anything though we knew.

But wandering child we miss your smile,
Because it made us go that extra mile.
But when you ended your lonely pain,
You started many others dark rain.
My dear child we all cared,
And your death we cannot bear.
