Foolish luv

by TillyMariex   Jul 29, 2007

I trusted you with my secrets,
I told you everything,
I believed you were 'the one',
I thought you really loved me.

But it was all just a game to you,
You were just having fun,
You were playing with my heart,
Then you shot it with a gun.

You destroyed all of my dreams,
My nightmares became reality,
Where darkness is more than it seems,
Where you drove me to insanity.

I played along for awhile,
Then i couldn't take no more,
The pain was just too much,
So i took the gun and fell to the floor.

As everything started to fade,
I saw an angel come from above,
I took her hand and flew away,
She showed me how to really love.
