Walking Through A Tainted Veil

by KeyxMashingxParody   Jul 29, 2007

Walking through this tainted veil,
I see your face shaping my heart.
Scrapping at all that is with in me,
Crying as my soul is torn apart.

Lifting sweet dreams over my head,
Wishing for nothing at all but you.
The one thing I could never give up,
Is the one thing I'll always lose.

Screaming in a pitch black room,
No one can hear my grief.
Sheltered inside my own mind,
Full of disregard and disbelief.

Clawing at a lifeless crowd,
I can't break free of this thin air.
Left in a lonely stance on my own,
My eyes in a stainless glare.

Ephemeral thoughts crowd my mind then vanish,
Crossing out into the night.
Nothing I do will ever please anyone,
Nothing I do, I do right.

Walking through this tainted veil,
I see your face shaping my heart.
Scrapping at all that is with in me,
Crying as my soul is torn apart.
