The Day We Met

The day we met,
I was so truly happy.
You made me smile,
Even when I felt crappy.

All the times that we had,
The secrets we would share.
We could talk all day long,
And never give a care

Nothing makes me happier,
Than to know were still friends.
When one of us needs a favor,
There is never a "That depends".

The day at the Edisto,
Was so much fun!
Just chilled by the tree,
And soaked up the sun.
