All He Could Ask For

by Ray 8D   Jul 29, 2007

All he could ask for was to be with her all the time,
But that can't happen since the night of the crime.

It was late Tuesday night he had to much to drink,
Obviously to wasted to think.

She said "pull over, let me drive",
To get home safely was what she thrived.

He quickly answered "No, im fine",
Then, how come he couldn't follow the line?

One swerve, two swerve, three swerve, four,
A car rammed into the passenger door.

Ever since that day, he's been filled with regret,
Whenever he drives, he brakes a sweat.

All he could ask for was to go back to that night,
And let her drive, instead of put up a fight.
