Diamonds In The Sand.

Diamonds In The Sand.

Perhaps your loyalty has taken you too far,
you've trusted the lightest of every star.
You've taken your hope, you've taken your love,
you've let it drift away into a land far above.
Where the angels cry through-out each night,
for the one who lost all strength and every fight.
For, they'd set aside a pillar of salt,
of which became bigger with every fault.
And, with each right decision that'd be made,
they'd create a piece of diamond that'd never fade.
They'd toss it to the ocean, and the day that you died,
you'd see what it meant each and every time you cried.
You would know the truth, hidden deep within..
And, you'd know the penalty for each and every sin.
