The Boy Who Said Goodbye

Every scar has its story
every story has its pain
these scars tell of the times
Ware a boy cried and made rain
they tell of a tail
of a boy so angry and alone
with nobody to talk to
so his feelings were never shown
he was afraid to admit
to the people he loved
that he was lost
cursed from above
he was living a lie
everyone thought he was OK
but at night he would cry
and in the morning he would stray
he was getting tired
of trying to hide
one day he just
broke down and cried
nobody understood
they just walked by
staring and laughing
not one friend by his side
then one evening
he decided to give up
cut his wrist
out came the blood
he didn't want help
he was happy as he cried
slowly with a smile
he whispered "goodbye"
and died
