In Your Greatness

by Krzysztof J   Jul 29, 2007

In all your greatness,
You couldn't see,
The painful damage,
You did to me.

In all your greatness,
You couldn't say,
All the things,
You hid away,

In all your greatness,
You couldn't give,
Your so called love,
Which was my need.

In all your greatness,
Your nothing more,
Then just frame,
Wrecked to the core.

In your greatness,
So blind were you,
You did not see,
My love was true.

The poets pen bleeds the words of love and the pain that moved your heart to write this piece is very truly felt I'm sure. Keep up the good writes and may your path bring smooth times when you can shed your wings and rest turmoil free. peace

Very poignant ending, it sums up the hurt and pain perfectly, yet also holds a tint of defience and pride
    Well done
