When Black and White is Beautiful

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jul 29, 2007

It's not my best so go read one of my other ones. :p Like Thoughts of the Mindless. ^_^ Or Crime Scene Waltz.

It's warm with white clouds and a blue sky.
The slight wind sounds like Mother Nature's sigh.
The butterflies play their drunken game flying each and every way.
The crickets chirp of it being a beautiful perfect day.
The colors were so bright it seemed that even a blind man would know how it looks.
It's like nothing I've ever seen in movies or books.
But then it happened.
The colors washed away and it became a gloomy day.
The wind became a race going hard and fast.
The butterflies game became something of the past.
The crickets were gone only the sound of the rain.
All of the colors seemed to wash down the drain.
It was as if all happiness had drowned.
Mother Nature stopped smiling and frowned.
It made it seem like all was deaf because of the sound of the storm.
Nothing was good and nothing was warm.
The rain was the only thing to be heard.
Not a cricket, a frog, or a bird.
But then I discovered something.
The rain felt good.
I never knew a storm could be good.
The sky was still bright just a shade of gray.
Though the butterflies where gone I still had a chance to play.
The puddles were like little pools to splash in.
And in that game no one had to argue over who will win.
The empty sound was like not even an echo could be made.
And it wasn't that bad to let all of the previous colors darken and fade.
It was still a nice day.
Just in a different more empty way.

Nice, like how you turned a negative outlook into a beautiful one.
