Save Room

by allidoiswrite82   Jul 29, 2007

Save some room for me
When you jot down in your book

Reminisce lovingly
When you give your past a look

Remember anniversaries, birthdays
And in those special moments

The love we made the getaways
The good morning darling sonnets

Don’t allow your memory to exclude
The vast mountain of roses

But brush right over my attitude
And the times it got ferocious

Remember the times that we held hands
Or talked on the phone for hours

The moon lit walks we took on the sands
Or danced in the warming morning showers

So when your writing down
All your life’s forget-me-nots

I hope this reminds you of my sound
And you save for me, at least a spot
