I wish I was a butterfly gentle and full of grace,
Becuase then Id take these wings and fly to a better place,
Or maybe id be a bird and soar through the skies,
Id live in a world where there would never be pain or lies,
I would never have sorrow,
And the outlook on life would be a better tomorrow,
Id never meet people who were money hungry fools,
Or people who were looking for the next material thing to be cool,
My heart would never feel loss or ever be broken,
And never would I be someones love token,
Id outstretch my wings and dip them in the cool of the air,
Id never worry about a thing, I would never have care,
But for now these are all just dreams we oh so often seem to share.
