Going To Be Too Late

by TwiztidJuggalette   Jul 30, 2007

She lives in a world,
Where no one seems to care.
She cries her heart out,
But no one will ever be there.

She wants someone special,
To help take away her pain.
No one stays long enough,
To see her life strain.

She always messes up,
Never does anything right.
She holds it inside during the day,
And cuts her wrists every night.

Can't anyone tell,
She doesn't want to be here anymore?
She feels hurt, abanded, and alone,
She can't take much more.

One of these days,
She's going to cut too deep.
Her life will soon end,
And you will just weep.

You'll all feel guilty,
Cause you just sat around.
But when that time comes, it'll be too late,
She'll already be buried in the ground...

Again another sad piece. You write with such ease about the pain. You draw the reader into your poem as if though they are actually there witnessing the whole scene unfolding.

    "She always messes up,
    Never does anything right.
She holds in inside during the day,
And cuts her wrists every night."

In the third line of this stanza I think it would sound better if you wrote She holds it inside

    Just my thoughts hun.

    Overall another lovely piece written.

Great depth and emotion. The poem itself is very powerful and touching. The flow for me seemed off in a few places, but no big deal. Still 5/5
