Alone.

by Samantha   Jul 31, 2007

Growing up secluded youre often alone
Glancing from side to side, only you and trees
I look down the river and feel empty
I pull my hair to the side so my face can feel the cool breeze

I walk to fifteen hundred miles, my solution to the problem
More cars passing, more people talking, but still empty
Different types of trees and different types of people
But at the end of the day, I am still me

No plane rides can change that
The distance didnt resolve
My friends moved on with life
And Ive still yet to evolve

I am alone in this world
Im living for what?
Every happy story in my life
Always ends in a "but..."
