Is in actuality
Reality sets in deeper
Than lies
And we cannot prevent
What we feel
It is much too real
To just ignore
And put aside
Maybe for a little while
We'll try to forget
But it all comes back
Someday
For what's inside us
Can never really disappear
Only hidden
And maybe buried
By what we convince ourselves
Is real
Those lies we make up
To cover the pain
The hurt
And the truth
But one of these days

It will all resurface itself
